Honest Answers to the Questions People Ask First
Years of therapy, medication adjusted and adjusted again, the books, the workshops, the changes you made and kept. All of it done in good faith, and much of it worked. We have real respect for that work; it is part of why you can consider something like this at all. And still, something hasn’t moved.
Plenty of people who do this work are functioning well by every outward measure, and simply notice a distance between the life they are living and the person they have become. That discomfort does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes curiosity is reason enough.
This guide walks through what actually happens: the science, the legal landscape in Colorado, what the experience feels like physically and mentally, and how licensed care is structured to keep you safe throughout. It’s designed to answer the questions you’d want answered before ever picking up the phone, so you can take this at your own pace and judge it for yourself.
What’s inside:
- What psilocybin is, and how long people have used it in healing contexts
- Why it’s legal in Colorado, and what that legality actually means in practice
- Honest, physical and mental expectations for what the experience feels like
- How safety and screening work, and what disqualifies someone
- What preparation, Journey Day, and integration actually involve
- The Numia difference: who guides you, and what a licensed setting provides
“Psychedelic-assisted therapy at Numia was a spiritual experience that will carry me through for the rest of my life.”Military veteran, business executive, and Numia client
